About
Polidiotic.com is a personal blog created by Kevin Bush. It has no political affiliations, though Kevin is conservative and typically votes Republican.
The blog was created on September 22, 2008 after Kevin couldn’t take the ridiculousness of Washington, the media and general politics anymore. The absurd claims made by liberals and false accusations were piling up and tormenting Kevin to no end. This is the result of such actions. Let that be a lesson to all liberals.
About Kevin Bush:
Kevin Bush (born September 28, 1979 as Kevin Michael Bush) grew up in a small Jersey town in southern NJ, near the ocean. Linwood is about 4sq miles small with a population of about 7,250 and is surrounded by the cities of Somers Point, Northfield and Bargaintown. It also lies about 10min west of Margate, Longport and Ocean City, which are part of the island chain that creates a perimeter around the Southern coast of New Jersey.
Kevin grew up a beach bum, attending some of the best schools in the district, including Mainland Regional High school, which became a “Blue Ribbon” school following his graduation. His parents were very involved with his social life and helped to create a very comfortable living for him. His father is a veterinarian, recently retired from running his own practice. His mother was a stay-at-home mom until Kevin was in about the 8th grade, where she became an Occupational Therapist. Throughout his life, he lived a middle-class lifestyle and soon attended William Paterson University.
At William Paterson University, in Wayne, NJ (northern NJ, about 30min west of NYC), Kevin studied Anthropology in hopes to become an Archaeologist. He graduated with a BA in Anthropology in 2003. Soon after graduation, he asked his high school sweetheart (and fellow William Paterson Grad), Elizabeth Wilson (now Bush) to marry him. In 2003, they moved down to Northern VA (DC Metro Area). On May 28, 2005 they married and are still living in the DC Metro area.
Both have worked in retail and non-profit. Now, Kevin is working in a for-profit company, SMS Direct, which is a Direct Mail Marketing company. He’s an account manager. Elizabeth Bush currently works at the National Rifle Association (NRA).
On the side, Kevin has had several ideas/ventures. He started his first business in 1998, called Elusion Internet Services (EIS). EIS was an internet service provider, specializing in UNIX Shell and web hosting. The business lasted for about two years, giving him experience in the marketplace with customer service, how to run a business, hot to advertise and manage. It also allowed him to learn and experience humility.
Kevin started his second business in 2006, called Valhalla Comics, Inc. Though incorporated at that time, he didn’t start doing business until December 2007, due to the prerequisite tasks needed to be accomplished in order to fully run the business appropriately. Unfortunately, due to some extremities in the comic book industry, the business never took fruition and was closed in June 2008. This experience has only made him stronger and it also opened his eyes to the true difficulties of running a business, raising income and being prepared. In addition, he now can see how the tax system and business regulations from the government are a problem that needs fixing.
Kevin isn’t currently looking to start up another business, but he still has plenty of ideas. In fact, Polidiotic.com and his new found love of all things political IS his new venture. It’s been a while since he’s had a blog or even an outlet to express himself, but he feels that this election season, with the many questions and aggravations being hurled around is the perfect opportunity to do so.
Kevin eventually wants to pursue a career in public office. He hopes to aid in the reconstruction of the many broken things in government, starting with schools and business regulations, which tend to be the true fundamentals of a prosperous United States. He does, however, hold strong opinions about illegal immigration (and legal immigration), Pro-Life/Pro-Choice issues, health care, the economy and taxes, local/state/federal affairs, as well as international relations.
He someday hopes to bring about positive changes to his local communities and eventually grow to work with others in building a postiive and fruitful society for all Americans, based on the original ideals of the founding fathers. He thinks himself a patriot, through and through, and wants what’s best for the country.
