Over the last few years, I’ve heard liberals compare Conservatives and Republicans to Fascists and Hitler. I’ve seen the argument that Fascism is the extreme right-wing, while Socialism or Communism is the extreme left-wing. While this had been said, I’ve never seen one liberal/progressive actually define the system of government for which they decided that Conservatives began to. Well… I’ve had enough, so I’m going to help them out a little bit.
While debating, I’ve had to define these systems of government to liberals, because they clearly do not know what they are. So, for those who know me (or those who don’t), I’ve taken the liberty to list these governments below, along with their definitions:

1. a theory or system of social organization that advocates the vesting of the ownership and control of the means of production and distribution, of capital,… land, etc., in the community as a whole.
2. procedure or practice in accordance with this theory.
3. (in Marxist theory) the stage following capitalism in the transition of a society to communism, characterized by the imperfect implementation of collectivist principles.
Communism (com·mu·nism) –noun
1. a theory or system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state.
2. (often initial capital letter) a system of social organization in which all economic and social activity is controlled by a totalitarian state dominated by a single and self-perpetuating political party.
3. (initial capital letter) the principles and practices of the Communist party.
Fascism (fas·cism) –noun
1. (sometimes initial capital letter) a governmental system led by a dictator having complete power, forcibly suppressing opposition and criticism, regimenting all industry, commerce, etc., and emphasizing an aggressive nationalism and often racism.
2. (sometimes initial capital letter) the philosophy, principles, or methods of fascism.
3. (initial capital letter) a fascist movement, especially the one established by Mussolini in Italy 1922–43.
Nazism (Na·zism) –noun
– the principles or methods of the Nazis.
NAZI (Na·zi) –noun
1. a member of the National Socialist German Workers’ party of Germany, which in 1933, under Adolf Hitler, seized political control of the country, suppressing all opposition and establishing a dictatorship over all cultural, economic, and political activities of the people, and promulgated belief in the supremacy of Hitler as Führer, aggressive anti-Semitism, the natural supremacy of the German people, and the establishment of Germany by superior force as a dominant world power. The party was officially abolished in 1945 at the conclusion of World War II.

My argument has been that the four systems above are relative to each other. They all share similarities, and certain systems lead to the more extreme of the other, such as Socialism leading to Communism, or Socialism leading to Fascism/Naziism.
The liberal argument has historically been that since NAZIs were big Nationalists, and apparently since Conservatives have love for America (their nation), then clearly there’s a direct correlation between the two schools of thought.
Let’s define Nationalism:
Nationalism (na·tion·al·ism) –noun
1. national spirit or aspirations.
2. devotion and loyalty to one’s own nation; patriotism.
3. excessive patriotism; chauvinism.
4. the desire for national advancement or independence.
5. the policy or doctrine of asserting the interests of one’s own nation, viewed as separate from the interests of other nations or the common interests of all nations.
6. an idiom or trait peculiar to a nation.
7. a movement, as in the arts, based upon the folk idioms, history, aspirations, etc., of a nation.
I would ask… what’s so wrong with that? I personally think that America is the last best hope for this world. We offer the greatest opportunity to any citizen or legal immigrant who would choose to take advantage of such opportunities. We have succeeded, tremendously, where others have faltered, and we’ve proven to be the most prosperous society this world has ever seen. Our GDP, in comparison to the 2nd best GDP in the world, should be testament to that. The inventions, innovations and accomplishments that this free country, which utilizes a free-market, capitalistic system should warrant praises from any other country. In addition to this, we also have one of the greatest militaries the world has ever seen. While extremely powerful, also good-natured and voluntary.
Clearly, Liberals are referencing definition #5 and possibly #3… I can only assume that they’re suggesting that Conservatives yearn for a yesteryear, where everyone was the same: same skin color, same religion, same ethnicity, same political ideals, same freedoms, etc.
Unfortunately for Liberals, that time and place has never existed, and even if it had, they couldn’t be more wrong.
As far as Nationalism goes, in regards to NAZIism and their claim of the “extreme right,” they’ll have to demonstrate how anyone on the far right has ever instituted or fought for Nationalist policies, such as Hitler’s. No one on the right has ever setup/used internment camps… that would be their Liberal heroes Woodrow Wilson and Franklin D. Roosevelt, during WWI & WWII. Wilson arrested & imprisoned Irish & German Americans, as well as many from Eastern Europe. FDR arrested and imprisoned Japanese, Italian and German Americans.
Woodrow Wilson segregated the army and believed in and actively supported eugenics. Margaret Sanger, another liberal hero, also partook in actively supporting eugenics, by starting Planned Parenthood, in order to downsize the African American population.
Sound familiar? Hitler was big on Nationalism, as well… and the master German race.
Another argument I’ve seen of late, is that Scott Walker is just like Hitler, because he wants to “break the Unions.” Funny thing is, Hitler was a big union guy. He was very much in favor of unions and thought quite highly of them… So again, these clueless mocking birds are dead wrong. I assume this is the fault of their professors at whatever University they might be (or had been) attending. They do have a liberal/progressive agenda in brainwashing their students with propaganda.
Conservatives, historically, have been for the limiting of government and its’ power. Smaller government ALWAYS leads to greater freedom, and this has been our argument for ages. When you look at the above definitions for government systems, what do they suggest? Bigger, overbearing, overreaching, and much more powerful government… Leaving what? Less powerful, less free citizens/slaves.
Liberals fight for more government regulations, oversight, security, restrictions, control, social welfare, handouts, bans, etc. What does this lead to? More expansive government… Socialism, Communism, Fascism, Totalitarianism, etc. Far from the Republic for which we stand and Capitalism – both freedom enhancing systems and two things that Conservatives fight for.
Liberals tend to argue that Conservatives are against individual freedom, in reference to what people do with their body… aka Conservatives are typically pro-life. Well, under the “Life, liberty & pursuit of happiness” precedent, stated in the Declaration of Independence, no… we do not believe that it’s ok to snuff out the life of a baby in or out of the womb. Some believe in certain circumstances, but Liberals always fail to see where abortion originated. The propaganda surrounding this area and the misinformation about the history of the subject has confounded the ability for liberals to think objectively and deduce opinions, based on real facts. Margaret Sanger – Planned Parenthood – Eugenics – African Americans – Abortion -> done and done. Look it up.
Another argument from the liberals, is that under regulation in the free market system has lead to the economic collapse of 2008. Then they go on to make fun of Bush, call him a Fascist, call me a Fascist and then say that Government regulations are needed to fix the problem. What? Fascism = bad to them, right? But they want Government control of private industry to prevent bad things from happening, right? So what’s Fascism again? Interesting argument…
Obviously, they’re wrong. Had they done the research, they’d know what caused the meltdown of 2008. What brought this failing economy was a failure of government oversight, via regulations on the mortgage market in the form of the 1977 Community Reinvestment Act, passed under Carter. That is to say, regulations lit the fuse to the dynamite 30yrs in the future. This Act was later fueled by Clinton by pressuring Fannie Mae to ease credit to aid mortgage lending, in 1999 (http://tinyurl.com/3jdn9e). This forced mortgage lending to those who couldn’t afford it, in what we now term as sub-prime loans.
It wasn’t Bush’s fault that the mortgage giants pushed these loans, but rather Clinton and the progressive Democrats in leadership positions. GW Bush actually tried to regulate Fannie & Freddie during his term, several times, to no avail (http://tinyurl.com/6lp5qu (2003) – http://tinyurl.com/5gvopc (2005)). Barney Frank continued to make claims that everything was fine and Fannie/Freddie were profitable corporations.
I’m not Bush’s biggest fan (I disliked many things he did, while liking many others), but it’s completely unfair to pin the collapse squarely on his shoulders, because in realityville, he had nothing to do with it. What he did do, however, was pass TARP… which, to me, was a huge mistake… but others would claim that our economy (along with the world’s) would have completely collapsed, beyond repair. Who knows… I’m not sure what I believe about that, but what I do know, is that overspending is not an option to take lightly. We’re in the position we’re in, right now, because of that lack of fiscal responsibility.
That’s another argument for another day, though. For this one, know that Socialism, Communism, Fascism and NAZIism all fall on the same side of the spectrum… the LEFT.
Many people, especially liberals and those who are comfortable in watching the mainstream/biased news media, have no idea what the Tea Party is about, why it started up and who it’s comprised of, in addition to what it represents.
Instead of attending a Tea Party rally or having a conversation with a Tea Party Patriot, these uninformed citizens will parrot everything they’ve been told to think about the Tea Partiers (known as Teabaggers by the mainstream media & liberal elites), despite everything they hear being extremely biased, hateful and based purely on opinion of an idea that’s been implanted in their mind, since they’ve had no physical experience with the movement. Without questioning, they call us racists, bigots, stupid, ignorant, extremists, terrorists, astroturf, and bible-bangers, just to name a few.
I’ve been involved with the Tea Party movement for my own reasons since the beginning. I didn’t attend a rally until the first Tax Day on April 15, 2009, but I considered myself a Tea Partier and Tea Party Patriot as soon as the idea was realized nearing the end of February of that year.
As a Conservative, I had become fed up with government legislation as usual. I was watching our leaders throw our taxpayer money down the drain on frivolous things and my train of thought wasn’t being represented by the representatives that we voted into office. It was time to step up or shut up. I, along with millions of others, chose to step up… and we’re still standing to this day.
In the beginning…
Before the Tea Party, fiscally conservative Americans were getting upset with the spending spree that Government has been on since 2008 with taxpayer money. It was only around the end of 2008 where people started to wake up, as spending had been out of control for a while before then, but nothing like this – and the costs were not adding up simply due to the war.
People were getting fed up with the following:
A. Expanding, Big Government
B. Excessive & Irresponsible Spending:
the first stimulus package (which was passed by GW Bush and a liberal Congress had a large negative outcry and was ignored – cost: $168B)
TARP (which was passed by GW Bush and a liberal Congress – this had an enormous outcry, much like the Stimulus Bill that passed earlier in the year, and again the people, were not listened to – cost: $700B)
the Auto Bailout (passed by Obama and a liberal Congress – again, met with enormous outcry, like the previous bills before it… and ignored – cost: $81.8B
Homeowner Assistance Plan (again, met with opposition and ignored – cost: $275B)
Total costs, before the formation of the Tea Party: $1.224 Trillion ($1,224,800,000,000.00)
C. People were not being listened to by the government and mass media was misrepresenting the information that the people were receiving. If you tried to contact your representative in the Senate or House, you couldn’t get through, you’d receive a voice-mail message, or you’d talk to their assistant who would “take a message.”
The mainstream media ignored the dissent of the people and refused to question the administration about any of the ridiculous spending taking place.
D. The mainstream media was also not fully vetting Barack Obama as a viable candidate for the most powerful office in the world, as President of the United States. If not for conservative entertainment talk shows (on television & radio), we still wouldn’t know who he is. Even to this day, the mainstream media refuses to treat him like any other President… and they refuse to offer any tough questions during interviews or report facts to the citizens of this country. They haven’t been doing their job and they’ve shown obvious bias since 2007, prior to the 2008 elections.
The Tea Party started as a result of all of this, but not until Rick Santelli of CNBC actually ranted on live television about the astronomical spending of the Obama Administration, calling for a Tea Party. He was mocked by his colleagues and the liberal mainstream media, but his words were heard by the American populace, thanks to conservative radio/television and Fox News, who all reported on this.
About one week later in late February, Tea Party protests broke out across America on several different dates.
The first nationally organized party was April 15, tax day, 2009.
Looking at the above, it can easily be assessed as to why there’s been this uprising of American taxpayers. They’ve been taxed without representation for quite a long time, now, with no end in sight, their (our) voices unheard. The original Boston Tea Party was derived from the same reasoning. The colonists were not represented in government/legislation, but England continued to tax them, despite their numerous outcries prior to the movement which eventually lead to the Revolutionary War.
Constitution-Bound: One Nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
While the spending was running rampant, the debt was increasing to astronomical numbers that we couldn’t even conceive of ever paying back. Even though Obama promised to lower the federal budget and eliminate a deficit, the deficit continues to grow into even bigger numbers than we’d ever have thought possible. The deficit in 2008 under Bush was $700B, in 2009 under Obama it was $1.4T and in 2010, so far, it’s $1.3T. The government continues to borrow money from our political enemies (China), giving them more political power and creating a worthless USD. This borrowing and spending, and the addition of taxes is going to enslave generations of Americans to come for the foreseeable future, unless something is done here and now. President Bush was responsible for adding $2.5T to the national debt. Obama is expected to add $4.9T by 2016, just by the bills he’s passed thus far. This doesn’t include any spending down the pike that may or may not be coming.
It wasn’t until this had been talked about, that Americans had seriously started looking back to the Founders for help and guidance. People started reading and asking questions about the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Federalist Papers. We started holding politicians accountable for their actions, by holding them to new and Constitutionally Conservative standards.
When we had a political foothold on the Hill (really only a few months after its’ beginnings), the Tea Party movement, that was built from fiscal conservatism and responsibility, began to call out the corruption in government, the lies and backdoor deals of politicians, the pork bills that were piggy-backing on bills that legislators weren’t reading, etc. It was then that we added social conservatism to our movement. Overtaxing and overspending is something to get angry about, but what fuels this in legislation? An ideology. Like certain news organizations and talk show hosts had warned, prior to the 2008 election, the people holding office were overwhelming Socialist in ideology… Obama and his friends were Marxists and they had/have a plan to “fundamentally change America” (his own words).
This isn’t the America we grew up with… the preceding generations didn’t grow up with a laissez faire attitude, they didn’t expect the government to take care of their every need and didn’t expect anything for nothing. They believed in working hard, doing your best, God and thanking God for what you have, America and the beacon of light it was for freedom, and they had strong, conservative family values. This current administration, unlike the previous, is trying to undermine these conservative values. They truly are fundamentally changing America and the American dream. They’re taking over/nationalizing/socializing private industries, left and right, continuing to spend our children and grandchildren into debt & slavery, taking God out of politics and public life, belittling American citizens, undermining the Constitution, replacing it with case law, ignoring the needs of States and acknowledging State’s Rights, they’re no longer defending the borders and preventing illegal immigration, they’re depleting our national security and defenses, and they’re throwing our international allies under the bus. Americans have had enough…
So while the Tea Party is comprised of people of all colors, ethnicities, religions and political affiliations, it’s truly a Conservative movement… because we want the government to be accountable. We want the Constitution to matter, the Declaration of Independence to matter… and we want all people, in government and out, to be held responsible for their actions, equally. We want everyone to be treated equally, but not provided for equally. We all believe in working for what we have, making our own way, smaller and less-instrusive government… we believe in charity for our fellow man, not regulated by our government, but regulated by ourselves. We believe in John Adam’s Capitalism/Free Market values, which allowed this country to become the most prosperous in the world, to have ever existed. We believe in God, for without which, we have no inalienable rights provided to us by a higher power – thus making Government the highest form of power that we answer to.
Tea Party Patriots believe in so many of the same things, but joined for so many different reasons, it’s difficult to define the term. That’s why I could write this post forever… Not everything that I stand for, is everything that someone else stands for. There are Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Christians, Muslims, Jews, white people, black people, etc. in this movement. We’re all different, but we are united. We’re unhyphenated Americans who are Constitutionally-bound. We want to be heard, we want Representation, we want our liberties and smaller government, we want corruption the Hell out of OUR government and we certainly damn well better get the TRUTH.
Today, after donating to the Arizona Governor’s Legal Defense Fund to fight the Federal Government’s attack on common sense and Constitutional law, I felt it necessary to send some words of support and encouragement to Governor Jan Brewer. In a time where Federal Government is doing anything it can to bypass the Constitution in order to gain votes and ram its’ policies down our throats, it’s very rare to find someone in the public eye (especially a state government official) who has the courage to stand up to such a politically corrupt and powerful regime, like the Obama administration… which has no problem throwing money around.
To Governor Brewers actions, I had this to say:

I just wanted to stop in via E-Mail to thank you for the wonderful work you’re doing for your state of Arizona, as well as the nation, as a whole. The United States has needed someone of strength and perseverance for the past several years (possibly decades) to stand up for the American people’s unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness… all of which are threatened under the laissez faire approach of the Federal Government to enforce immigration policies/laws, especially under the 14th Amendment of the Constitution.
It’s absolutely atrocious, how the Constitution has been ignored, neglected, misinterpreted and misconstrued by educators, lawyers, judges and government officials. I know that with people like you and finally, the rebirth of a self-educated America (thanks in part to those in Conservative talk radio and those on the Fox News Network), we can take this country back in the direction it should be headed – back to our founding principles and values, passed on to us through our Founding Fathers, the Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and basic Judeo-Christian morals/ethics.
Thank God for you, Governor Brewer. The American people are behind you and will stand side-by-side with you to fight for our rights and our Republic. This nation is built on laws and we, all of us, must abide by them. Illegal immigrants (aliens) are just that… illegal.

PPS – As an aside, please search MSNBC’s website to find the current poll about the new AZ law. After about 3 million votes, 96% of those who voted stand with you. Of course, there isn’t a way of preventing someone from voting more than once… but 3 million votes is quite a lot. At least 60-70% of America is with you… and I would guess many more percentage points than that.
I encourage anyone who reads this and that has been paying attention to the ongoing corruption in the Federal Government over the last two years to lend a helping hand to Governor Brewer. She needs our help. Alone, she has a great voice, but together, we form a very loud and powerful civil army. We need to fight amnesty and we need to fight for and protect our unalienable (defined by the Declaration of Independence) and Constitutional rights. Donate as much money as you can possibly afford. I’m sure any amount is a lot, especially in this time of recession and high rate of unemployment, but winning this battle will set a new standard in this nation. Illegal immigration will finally be dealt with, more states will rise to the occasion to protect their own borders with similar laws (just as they are now), and those states with sanctuary policies will be dealt with.

Your reference to our constitution is a bit frightening. Our founding fathers were very critical about who they trusted and what that trust meant to future generations.
There is an abundance of info that you can view by merely googling a word or phrase. Of course, you will need to decide for yourself what you ultimately believe. It’s so freaking absurd to think 9/11 was an inside job for more reasons than Louise gave… Take physics into account, for one, and go read: Physics for Future Presidents. The first chapter outlines the physics that occurred with the planes hitting the Twin Towers and the after events.
Ok, now that we’re up to speed on the physics, let’s talk about the continuous terrorist threats and attempts we’ve seen before and after 9/11. Then let’s take a look at a group of people, who we’re fighting right now, who will intentionally strap bombs to women and children and send them after civilians and soldiers, so long as it suits their purpose. Then, maybe we can look at the video tapes of Osama bin Laden, where he mentions his terrorist threats, warnings & admission. He’s been a terrorist for far longer than 9/11/01, and he’s been on the FBI Most Wanted List for almost as long.
How can anyone, in good conscience, believe that this was an inside job? If it is, what’s the motivation? Who was the scheming grand master? I’m curious to see who’s behind all of this.

I’ll concede you one point: We armed Afghanistan to fend off invasion from the Soviet Union, because we wanted to aid in protecting further countries from having to undergo tyrannical communism, which was the scurvy of the Western World.
What the Americans didn’t know at the time, was that Al Qaeda was committing atrocious terrorist attacks on Soviet soil for years. Since the Soviets were sheathed by their iron curtain, the Western World didn’t have the knowledge they do know, which was that they were defending their borders… not that that makes them the good guys, by any means. What it looked like, to us, was that the Soviets were attempting an invasion. So, what did we do? Sent Afghanistan weapons to protect themselves.

However, we did not “create” Al Qaeda, the Taliban, or any other radical Islam group. They and the other radical Islam terrorist factions have been around since the 80s, but radical Islam has been in existence for ages. Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran, Sudan, Palestine, etc… have tormented their own people and their neighbors and have attempted to invade European & Christian cultures/nations for decades, if not the last century or two… if we want to go way back. Hell, even the Founding Fathers noted the Muslim terrorists in their writings.

Save Our Constitution: Kevin, no one had to prove anything to me – I came to my own conclusions after ~ 2 years of research. However, my journey really began about 20 years ago when I got involved with the pro-life movement and started to read about it’s beginnings. At that time I also was also getting deeper into my faith with a lot of Biblical reading and other faith info. I was teaching the faith to adolescents and it mandated much preparation.
I have never voted anyway but Republican. I viewed the Democrats as the party of Satan (which they are), but I now see that there is no redemption in the Republican camp either.
What I learned from my faith journey dovetailed perfectly with the political happenings. If you are open to God, He will grant you the Wisdom that no amount of education can give you. The best advice I can give you is to read and ask and then decide for yourself. Remember: None are as blind as those who WILL NOT see. In other words, you need to WANT to learn before you can sufficiently grow.

He was there on one of those ships that were diverted to a small Island and told to wait further orders. It was Dec. 6th!!! They heard planes overhead but could not identify them.

The Japanese spies reported them in the Harbor, which they were at the time, and then were sent out. The Japanese planes were already ordered to attack when the ships were confirmed in the harbor. It is as it states a very easily understood text because it is aimed at non-engineers – you know, folks like truthers who are generally dumb – right? However, I just happen to be an engineer, so it comes across as pedestrian to me, but I read it anyway.
The authors present a very compelling argument, but with a great deal of speculation. For instance: They assume the fire was hot enough to weaken the steel beams ro the point of collapse. That is speculation because they did not know the actual temp. and most likely did not attempt to duplicate that fire.
As the fireman in the video that Kimberly linked states: Without a proper and valid investigation according to the demands of the national fire code, no one can say for certain what actually brought down those 2 towers. Last night, I wrote a letter to the British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown and the British Ambassador, Nigel Sheinwald. The letter was in regards and reaction to the way President Barack Obama treated the British Prime Minister – it was a letter of apology on behalf of the people of the United States, the White House and President.
If you’ve been living inside a bottle or you’re just Liberal and don’t believe things that actually happen, then you haven’t noticed the blatant disregard for respect and hospitality shown to the Prime Minister. When he visited the White House this past week, he was taken for granted and treated in a way you would treat that weird kid in the corner, who typically talks to himself… you know the one.
Gordon Brown brought several lavish gifts – gifts wreaking of historical significance and symbolism for the President and United States. He presented the President an ornamental pen holder, created from the timbers of the Victorian anti-slave ship, HMS Gannet. This was especially significant, because the desk that has been sitting in the Oval Office since 1880 was carved using oak from the HMS Gannet’s sister ship, the HMS Resolute. He also gave President Obama a framed commission for the HMS Resolute, and on top of that… a first edition of the seven-volume Winston Churchill Biography, written by Sir Martin Gilbert.
In exchange, President Obama gave the Prime Minister a 25-disk Region-1 DVD set of popular American movies. Region-1, meaning that the Prime Minister wouldn’t even be able to play them in European DVD players. This is absolutely laughable and pathetic. It’s really an embarrassment to this country and every citizen living within it.
Not only did Obama decide to shaft Prime Minister Brown on the gift, but he also neglected to fulfill the traditions of an official state dinner and a joint press conference. How’s that for honoring an ageless alliance and friendship? Wasn’t it Obama who promised to reinvigorate our international relations and repair America’s reputation in the world? Add this to the recent insult to Russia via a Red (…) reset button, reading “Overcharge,” and you’ve got a winning combination for creating a welcoming environment for the United States. Kudos Obama… Thank you Hillary… you’re doing us such a great service.
You’d think that would be enough, but no… alas, it is not. If you remember (or maybe have read about), Britain gave us a significant gift after the attacks that occurred on our home land on the date of 9/11/01. The gift was a bust of Winston Churchill, and it signified the unification of our two countries, standing as one against tyranny. It was a heart-felt gesture and an important and constant reminder of our relationship with our greatest ally.
Well, Obama gave that statue back last week. I don’t fully understand the reasoning behind this, but apparently the statue holds little significance for him, and I don’t know what he’s trying to say to the Prime Minister and Britain… but it’s nothing good.
Anyway, after hearing how the President treated the British Prime Minister, my heart sunk. I’d never felt such embarrassment, nor humiliation for my country before. So, I wrote the below letter:

Dear Sirs,
I just wanted to take a moment and express my feelings on how you have recently been treated, as a guest, in the United States of America. It’s with great regret that I had to watch the news and see the absurdity and absolute rudeness of our new President, Barack Obama.
It truly is unforgivable, the way he treated you, Prime Minister Brown. My heart dropped, when I heard that our President returned the gift from Britain of the bust of Winston Churchill, that was given to us after 9/11, symbolizing our unity with your country. Our brotherhood/sisterhood was forged before that, but this would have played an integral role and reminder of our relationship.
To further the mishap, our President neglected to extend to you a meaningful gift in exchange for the several priceless artifacts that you had presented him, the White House and the United States. Twenty-five Region-1 DVDs are a far cry in showing you how much your country and allied relationship means to us. I could not believe my ears, when I heard about this effortless exchange of a meaningless collaboration of Hollywood’s finest, which won’t even play in your DVD players in the United Kingdom. I’m honestly shocked. Had I a gift to give you, in his stead, I would happily make that extension.
Adding insult to injury, our disrespectful President failed to carry on with tradition, and neglected to hold a joint press conference between the two of you, as well as neglected to hold an official state dinner. Truly shameful.
It is with a heavy heart and on behalf of all Americans, the United States, the historical significance of the White House and the President, that I apologize for our President’s actions. I would like for you to know that we appreciate everything that Britain has done for us and the alliance that we’ve held for quite some time. Your military contribution to the War on Terror in Afghanistan and Iraq is also noted, and certainly appreciated. Most of us honor those who serve on behalf of those who can’t or decide not to. I’m very proud of our soldiers and those who stand with them, and I have the utmost respect for your leadership and the Prime Ministers who have served before you.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. I hope that you’ve received many more like these.

It’s taken me a while to get the urge to write anything. I’ve even taken a month hiatus from watching the news or reading it, because it was the same crap over and over again. The same news regurgitated on an endless loop. It was painful to watch and more painful to read what I just watched, or vice versa. I’ve only been listening to talk radio over the month, and it wasn’t until the last couple of weeks, where my interest peaked again.
Surprise, surprise (not really)! Hamas was, once again, provoking Israel to defend themselves, and Israel comes under attack by the media and anti-war/anti-Israel/left-wing crazies. A broken record? Seems it, that’s for sure. This Israeli/Palestinian struggle has been carrying on for over 60 years. What’s hilarious, is that Hamas/Palestine act like they’re the victims in all of this. What they don’t seem to realize, however, is that Israel has the power to overwhelm and obliterate them, but they continuously turn the other cheek. Perhaps an action they should yield.
To appease the Palestinians, Israel gave… yes GAVE… them the Gaza strip. This, of course, occurred after the territory squabbles that they had in the 40s after World War II.
I think it’s high time to put this terrorist “country” in their place and to end the hostile back-and-forths that continuously play out.
Now… March 05, 2009
Well, I began writing that about two months ago, when Hamas was sending rocket after rocket into Israel, and in retaliation, Israel began their assault on the Gaza Strip. At the time, Americans were split (Liberal and Conservative, once again)… the Liberals were rooting (big surprise) for Hamas, since they were on the receiving end of an onslaught and deceivingly look helpless, and the Conservatives (who knew what the hell was going on) were rooting for Israel to finally end the seemingly never-ending battle.
The reason I stopped writing it, is in part, because I was engaged in very many arguments on FaceBook, which really drained my will power to write anything. haha You wouldn’t believe how tiring it is to argue with a Liberal who is so dead-set in their ways, that it’s impossible for them to see any side of a story that hasn’t been regurgitated by the biased news organizations that they receive their information from, like MSNBC/NBC, CBS, CNN, NY Times, Washington Post, Huffington Post, etc, etc, etc.
That, and the fact that so much has been happening since Obama’s ascension to the Presidency, that it’s very difficult to pick and choose what to write about. I often get long-winded in my posts, and if that’s the way it’s going to be, I’d like to really be able to write about it… so, that’s been difficult. It’s also very difficult to have such long-winded posts on a day-to-day basis. Anyway, I wanted to revisit the Hamas/Israel conflict, because I never finished it, for one… and it’s still going on, despite even more cease fire attempts and an election for Israel’s new President and party.
Anyway… back to Israel and Hamas:
Since before World War 2, Palestine has been toe-to-toe with Israel and the Jewish people. Islamic/Muslim faith has consistently preached in favor of a decimated Israel, which would bring about their “savior.” In 1967, Hamas was born as a wing of the Muslim Brotherhood. It was the intention of Hamas to gain favor amongst the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and to eventually gain leadership, and to promote their Islamic agenda, having Palestinians adopt it as their belief system. Well, their efforts worked, and the Palestinians voted them into power, starting in the early 1990s.
Hamas has a stringent ideology about the destruction of Israel, forcing them from the land with severe force. Israel’s sheer existence is a threat to Islam. In pamphlets distributed throughout Palestine via Hamas can be read “…increase attacks with knives, grenades, and guns against the cowardly Jews in their houses and turn the day into darkness and the nights into intolerable hell * * * view every Jewish settler as a target to be killed, whose blood and money are for the taking.” It’s obvious that they care not for killing only soldiers… they’ll kill anyone in Israel, citizen or soldier, so long as they’re Jewish.
This is Hamas… a known and obvious terrorist organization, hell-bent on killing the innocent, merely because they exist. This is who the Liberals are cheering for. And to think that most Jewish Americans are Democrats/Progressives/Liberals – it’s beyond reason and it makes absolutely no sense to me.
Well, the hostilities haven’t ended… they’ve been ongoing since before the 40s and well after the 60s and continuing today. Despite truces, peace treaties and cease fire agreements… all moderated by many different Presidents, ex-Presidents and representatives from several different countries, especially the United States. Hamas still holds true to their original values and beliefs, and in a time of extremist terrorism sweeping through the world, we just can’t turn a blind eye to what’s really going on there.
It seems that any time that Hamas instigates reaction out of Israel, using devastating means, such as missiles/rockets, rifles, bombs or otherwise, Israel is being scrutinized. Why is that? Is it because the Gaza Strip looks like a derelict, decaying mess of a country? Is it because they look like a 3rd world country (well, if it were a country… it would be)? Is it because the terrorists of Hamas hide behind their civilians? Yeah… I think that’s pretty much it. The Liberals in this country are so caught up in looks/feels, that they miss the entire point. These countries in the Middle East are NOT civilized… not in any sense of the word that we’re familiar with… nor Israel is familiar with. Look how prosperous Israel is. That’s what a civilized country looks like… America is what a civilized country looks like… We build cities, we don’t destroy them. Hamas is so ingrained with hate, that they know nothing of what makes a people successful and prosperous. If Hamas wanted to put their differences aside and realize that what they’re doing is nothing short of insanity, they could work together to build a thriving civilization, as well. Who’s stopping them? Themselves… that’s who.
That’s not going to happen, though… and the Liberals don’t see that. How many chances do they really need? They’ve had decades upon decades to change their ways, and they haven’t… and honestly, I’m fed up with their crap… and I guarantee that Israel has been fed up with their crap for a long time, now. I’m truly amazed that they haven’t leveled the Strip to the ground by now, really… I truly am. What’s that say about patience?
Well, it’s 2009, now… and in recent events (on Jan. 1, oddly), Israel actually killed a Hamas leader, who was at his home in the Gaza Strip. This came after several air strikes in retaliation to Hamas’ attacks on Israel civilian territory. They also pushed into the Gaza Strip to occupy the hostile territory for a short while, and after, yet another cease fire, they pulled back out into Israel.
More recently, Netanyahu and the Likud Platform won the 2009 Israel elections. This is a promising result, since the Likud has stringent terms in regards to Palestine and dealing with terrorists. Some of those terms can be found here. I have full faith in Prime Minister Netanyahu in ending the feud between Israel and the “state” of Palestine and Hamas… unfortuantely for them, I do believe it will be with use of force… and I hope that it is, because that will seemingly be the only option at this point. Hamas needs to be wiped off the face of the planet, just like the rest of these terrorist organizations, such as the Taliban and Al Qaeda. Anyone who thinks otherwise is oblivious to the realities of our situation.
Really? The history of these people (Hamas/Palestine & Israel) is quite deep. It precedes my existence and far beyond WW2, and there’s entirely too much baggage to list in one post. However, we have to realize that Hamas is Israel’s Al Qaeda, and they need to be handled in the same manner. The world needs to step back and allow Israel to stand up for themselves and take care of the problem.
It’s unfortunate that Netanyahu does not have an ally in President Obama, but hopefully we only have 4 years of this disgrace, from which we can turn around this country and make it as great as it once was, under more pro-American Presidents.
So, here’s to you Netanyahu and Israel… Please do what you can to finish the Arab-Israeli conflict. I tip my hat to you and wish you the best of luck in your efforts in destroying the terrorist operatives that surround your sovereign state. I also pray for your success and safety.
Otherwise known as the CCPM or “Most Corrupt American Political System EVER,” Chicago is at it again. We round out the year, at an appropriate time, with the arrest of Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, based on political corruption which includes the attempt to sell President-elect Obama’s senate seat to the highest bidder. As if Chicago politics and politicians didn’t already have enough negative spectacles enveloping them. Of course, the politicians have no one to blame but themselves.
Now… an argument will surface about the phrase “Corrupt Chicago Politics,” because liberals will claim that it was the governor, not the mayor of Chicago or something in regards to the city of Chicago… and if you try to tie Obama (who was bred from Chicago politicians) to the corrupt machine, they’ll mention he’s a Senator for the state, not the city, etc… However, these people are all coming from the exact same city… Chicago. Of course, liberals would know that, if they actually did some homework for themselves and looked it up.
I wonder if Obama voters will finally acknowledge the existence of this corrupt political machine that they’ve been neglecting for two years. I wonder if they’ll finally see what Chicago politics is like and the kind of politicians that are spawned from the disgusting petri dish of deceit that only the likes of Chicago can create.
You can deny that Obama had any knowledge of the corruption going on in that city all you like, but when you start throwing names like Tony Rezko into the mix, then you’ve got to admit that he knew something. Of course, I’m not going to start blurting accusations yet, but when it’s appropriate to say “I told you so,” you better believe I will. ;] Congrats and kudos to you Americans that put this man in office.
As if the $700 Billion bailout for the mortgage industry wasn’t enough, now the reality of an auto industry bailout is possibly taking fruition. Yesterday marked the day of mockery, as the CEOs of the big three (GM, Ford and Chrysler) decided to fly in their private jets into DC to meet with Congress in order to beg for a handout.
Obviously, seeing that these arrogant CEOs did use their very expensive and costly private jets to get to this meeting, the members of Congress laughed in their faces.
When asked who would NOT return home, using their private jets, neither of the CEOs raised their hand. When asked if the CEOs had a plan for the bailout, they neglected to provide one. When asked how much money they would need, they didn’t have an answer.
Does this sound like a well thought out plan to you? These people are CEOs (Chief Executive Officers) of three of the largest corporations in America, responsible for hundreds of thousands of employees, leading to even more jobs from third party companies, such as distributors/dealerships/retail stores. I’m not sure why these guys were hired/elected into their positions, but they’re obviously NOT acting responsibly and they’re NOT fulfilling their obligation to their stock holders, employees and partners. In my opinion, they really need to go, regardless of the outcome of this whole ordeal.
These companies do NOT need a bailout from the government. When have we actually seen a bailout/handout work? The $700B bailout didn’t do anything. People are still in the same financial situation they were, before. The stock market is crumbling and the DOW is now below 8,000 points (about 7,500 at the end of the day, today). A bailout will not give these companies what they need and will inevitably lead to more problems in the future, where these CEOs will clearly depend on the generosity of the government and their socialistic tendencies. Responsibility is lost.
I do find, however, that if the government didn’t have such stringent regulations on car production, the companies would at least be able to produce whatever they want, and that which actually sells. We could attribute these companies’ failings to the government, directly… just another case of them getting involved and destroying yet another industry. Other car companies, like Toyota, Honda and Hundai do not have these regulations, and thus… can produce more of what sells, rather than a percentage of what doesn’t. This is no excuse, of course, for the horrible leadership of the top three’s CEOs.
I can think of a number of ways these companies can get themselves out of their current funk:
1. File Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Yes, no one really wants to do this, but this can save them in the long haul. They can restructure their overall business plan, budget, etc.
2. Replace the CEOs that have obviously driven these companies into the ground. Replace them with new blood, that sees and leads outside of the box.
3. Sell the subsidiary companies, or renegotiate contracts. This will sever the many companies that GM, Ford and Chrysler have purchased throughout the years and allow them to compete in the market and will probably lead to innovation. This will lower costs for the big three, maybe make them some money. Employees will be spread out, lessening the burden on the three, as well.
4. Kill failed projects. End the manufacturing of unnecessary parts and cars that do not sell. Limit the amount of cars they produce and possibly hit niche markets.
5. Renegotiate terms with the labor union, bringing down wages of CEOs, top execs AND those in the union.
It’s surprising that the employees at these big three are earning top salaries in their profession, when their companies are failing. They earn, on average, $77 per hour, compared to about $45 per hour at various other non-American car companies. Why should this be the case?
Oh, and sell the private jets. That can save the companies hundreds of thousands (maybe millions depending on how often they’re used, and where they fly them to) per year.
The auto industry needs to get real and search for their own resolution.
There are some scary events coming down the pipe in the coming four years, two of which are addressed in the topic. One, Obama would like to pass stringent restriction and prohibition laws concerning guns, and two, he (and Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s Chief-of-Staff) would like to create a civil security force with America’s youth.
The first issue is scary enough, basically infringing on one of our constitutional amendment rights… the second amendment, to be exact, which is the following:
A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.
It clearly states our right to bear arms and that this right should not be infringed upon. So, what does Obama want to do? Well, here’s a rundown:
1. Bring back the Federal “Assault Weapons Ban” that expired in 2004 and make it permanent. “Assault Weapons” in this case, refers to semi-automatic firearms. Of course Obama doesn’t understand the difference between semi-automatic and fully-automatic, so he dubs these “assault weapons” as machine guns that are typically used during warfare on foreign soil and the like. Do you think he’s ever fired a gun or held a gun in his life? Quite doubtful.
2. Repeal the “Tiahrt Amendment.” This amendment prevents the public/civil access to the tracing system of the ATF, regarding firearms. The tracing system can explain where a gun was manufactured, where it was sold, who the first purchaser was, etc. This information, while helpful in determining the travel habits of a firearm, can be damaging to a law abiding firearms manufacturer. Many anti-gun activists would love to sue firearm manufacturers, based on crimes that were committed using their firearms as weapons. I ask you, how is the manufacturer or even a store owner responsible for a criminal’s actions? Perhaps we should sue car manufacturers every time someone gets hit or dies in a car accident, or hit and run. Sounds fair, right? FYI, cars can be used as weapons, as well.
3. Close the “gun show loophole.” First, there isn’t a loophole, but what anti-gun activists would like to do, is prevent someone without a Federal license obtained from the FBI to sell firearms at a gun show or casually from their collection, etc. Federal gun law, explicitely forbids a gun shop or someone who regularly sells guns as a source of income, to do so without a license. In addition, anyone who purchases a gun from one of these places must undergo a Federal background check, conducted by the FBI. The “loophole” is actually a federal law… not a loophole at all. It implies that anyone who does not run a gun shop or anyone that does not sell firearms as a source of income, has the right to sell their firearms on a casual basis. Such an instance would be to sell your firearm to a friend or family member.
The fact is, less than 1% (about .7%) of crime committed with firearms are committed with firearms obtained from gun shows. And who really knows if those guns were actually obtained by unlicensed sellers? The closing of this “loop hole” would be ineffective at stopping these crimes, as most of them are committed with illegally obtained firearms to begin with.
4. Require that guns in this country are “childproof.” What they don’t tell you, however, is that making guns “childproof,” will require millions of dollars in research and development, as well as an increase in price per gun, by about $300-500 or more. Their idea of childproofing, is implementing a technological device that would allow for fingerprint reading or voice recognition… Sounds cool and sci-fi, but c’mon… let’s get real. Why don’t we just educate our children on gun safety and actually practice gun safety, ourselves? Is that too little or too much to ask?
These four policies, not to mention Obama’s support for an astronomical gun sales tax of a reported 500% would make it next to impossible for anyone to purchase or sell a firearm, which obviously is Obama’s intention. Many media outlets or “fact check” sites would try to debunk this, but you can’t lie about a voting record. He’s supported the banning of firearms and this tax law in the Illinois Senate, twice in 2004.
The banning of any gun is teetering on infringing on the second amendment. Making it impossible to purchase a gun is a “loophole” of his own, for infringing on the second amendment. Go figure.
Now, you’d think this firearms ordeal was enough, right? Well, I beg to differ! In addition to restricting/banning/regulating/taxing/prohibiting firearms, he would also like to institute a Civil Security Force.
A Civil Security Force you ask? Oh yes… civilians, but not just any civilians… those who are between the ages of 18 and 25, and according to Obama and Emanuel, it would be mandatory, not voluntary. You can listen to their “words, just words,” here.
So, these young adults, if this idea is implemented, will be made to serve the civilian security force, will be given training and most likely an “education” (read: indoctrination) and serve anywhere from 3 months to whatever these guys decide is an appropriate allotment of time to serve, since they’re currently undecided.
You see, I don’t really understand why such a thing is necessary, since we already have a standing right to form a civilian militia, if need be. Oh, wait… wait, wait, wait. That would only be effective if we had the right to bear arms, and that policy is currently under fire by the very left liberals in government, right now… and with Obama at the helm, we’re in trouble of nearly losing that right altogether.
So, what happens? We have this Obamanation Youth Front (OYF) that will protect us on a day-to-day basis, on American soil. That’s interesting… it almost sounds like a constant martial law, doesn’t it? This idea also sounds somewhat similar to what dictators typically form… these socialist security forces that are overwhelmingly made of indoctrinated children/young adults. Sooner or later, you’re going to hear songs from little kids, touting the importance and greatness of their President-elect… Oh, wait, that’s already happened a few times, yeah? Hrmm…
You know who else had a national youth organization like this? This guy. In fact, he had two different organizations like this: The Hitler Youth and Sturmabteilung (otherwise known as stormtroopers). I’m not calling Obama Hitler or a Nazi… just sayin’.
To put it bluntly… “Oh boy.” It’s only been one week after the election has been over, and we’ve had one zinger after the other:
First, President Medvedev of Russia announced that he was going to try to have his presidential term extended by two years, giving him six, and the following President two terms of six years each. What’s expected to happen, is that Medvedev, the puppet of Vladimir Putin, will finish his term, allowing Putin to take his place. He would then have 12 years of Russian rule, which I expect would be influenced, heavily, by Putin’s KGB experience and love for Soviet Russia.
Second and at the same time, it had been realized by the United States, that Russia was deploying missiles near Poland. Medvedev claims that this is because he doesn’t trust the United State’s Missile Defense System in Europe, which would serve to protect Americans and it’s European allies from terrorists and those that would do them harm. They’re so paranoid to think that we have an ulterior motive in building a system in Europe to oppose them in some way.
These two instances occurred the day following Obama’s election, as reported by Fox News. Hrmmm, do they possibly think that Obama is a push over? They’re not even accounting for Bush’s remaining days as President, thinking of him as a non-factor. It seems that the Russians, and many other governments, feel that this is an opportune moment to make or design a strategy to move in their favor. I’ve feared for the past several months, since their invasion of Georgia, that Russia would try to move and implement a new unification of several states, under Russian rule. Possibly a return to the Soviet Russia, but maybe even a new Soviet Union? I suppose we’ll see what happens in the coming year or so.
The third event that occurred, and closer to home, is the sudden drop in the stock market. On November 5 (yep, a day after his election, again), as reported by Reuters the DOW dropped by nearly 500 points, marking the largest drop after a Presidential election EVER. Amazing, no? How’s that for Capitalism having faith in its’ newly elected President? I think that the majority of business people in this country realize that this guy is going to wipe out large/small companies with astronomical taxes and an enormous spending budget, which will create one of the largest deficits this country has ever seen.
This sudden drop of 500 points was followed by another drop of 400 points on the following day, November 6. That’s a drop of 900 points in two days, which occurred after a steady increase preceding election day. Yet again, more faith in our President-to-be. Something amiss here, isn’t it? Do you think somebody knows something we don’t? No… we all know it… about 17million Americans know it. The other half is drinking Kool-Aid and sticking their thumbs up their butts. Ok, so that’s an assault on two sides of the Barack Obama Presidency… but what else could possibly be at stake here? Well, how about this?
The fourth thing to consider, is that Obama has basically sworn to keep his promises to America… and by that, I mean he plans to spend like a maniac, while taxing the crap out of us. In just one week, he’s decided to go along with Nancy Pelosi’s proposal of a second stimulus package for consumers, to again… stimulate the economy. Like it worked before? I think not. Oh, but not only this, there’s more awesome news! It seems that Obama intends to bail out the Automotive industry, as well, since they’re a foundation of our economy… right?
Now, correct me if I’m wrong… but since when is a foundation of our economy a car company that can’t sell any cars? GM has dug themselves a nice hole to crawl out of, but the problem is… they don’t want to crawl out. They want to be carried out. Who do they want to carry them out? Oh, you know… the tax payers, of course! And who wants to allow that to happen? Well, Mr. Obama.. of course!
So, that’s two big spending bills in a row that the Obamanater would like to pass, bringing the tally to what? Well, we already dished out $25 Billion to the “big three” automakers in September. This new GM bailout would cost a measly $50 Billion and the stimulus package would cost anywhere between $60-$100 Billion, bringing the max potential cost of the new packages to $150 Billion, while already spending $700 Billion for the first bailout. Amazing, is it not?! I thought Obama was going to lower taxes for 95% of the country? Is that still going to happen? If so, is he going to tax small/big business 60-70%? Seems the only feasible thing to do, if he plans on balancing the federal budget. Just sayin’.
The fifth thing to happen is a trivial obstacle to most… but perhaps a problem of trust to some. In his first tet-a-tet with the sitting President Bush, Barack Obama talked about policies and current events. In an un-Presidential move, he actually leaked information (though, false) from the private and thought to be classified, meeting to the press. The result was an angry Bush and a new opinion of the worthiness of Obama. Is he truly acting like a “Chicago thug,” as President Clinton had claimed? I’d say so… it seems the only thing that Obama can keep a lid on, is anything damning to his personal reputation. Anything that comes out into the open seems to be beneficial or seemingly beneficial to him. As can be seen from his campaign and this recent event, he’s a liar… as Bush has made perfectly clear, when claiming the information leaked was false.
How can we take this President-elect serious? How can anyone trust him? I just don’t get it….
The sixth issue to come about is the cockiness of Iran. Apparently they felt it necessary to strut their political and military muscle along the border of Iraq, by testing missiles. Iran made it clear that their missiles could hit targets 1,200 miles away, and though used for defense, they could be used against opponents, such as Israel or America, in the case that one or the other attacks them. That being said, they claimed that they would attack American bases, even if Israel attacked them, of their own accord. Interesting…
What’s the relevance of this situation? Besides an increasingly militaristic Iran who wants to wipe the Israelis off the face of the planet? In a previous blog post of mine, I outlined the various countries/dictators/terrorist groups that supported Obama. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is one such person, and I see this as an act that shows he’s not afraid of a reaction from Obama. I believe he thinks that if he decided to attack Israel, we’d stand idly by, to allow Israel to fend for itself. Is this the message that Obama is getting across? If not, then why do these groups/countries/terrorists support him? I don’t get it.
The seventh issue is merely being planned and talked about… which is the closing down of Guantanamo Bay Prison and transporting the hundreds of war criminals/felons that are located there into the United States. Call me crazy, but that just irks me to no end. Not only this, but Obama wants to pretty much recreate the criminal system that these war criminals undergo… Who the hell does this guy think he is? He’s going to undermine every President preceding him and he’s going to change the criminal system for war, he’s going to tear down Capitalism, he’s going to negotiate and sit down with terrorists/dictators… I just don’t understand how it’s gotten to this point. Why in the world did you people elect this guy?

Think about them… think about why Obama is President… think about what the next four years are going to be like and what you can do about it now. Oh, don’t worry… there’s much more to come.
